I beleive most of the regular sized headlights you now get have a halogen bulb
inside a larger casing. They are noticeably brighter than the normal ones.

) Hello to all
) Has anyone upgraded to halogen headlights? Terry says the wiring harness is
) marginal and to watch out the amps aren't too high. My plan is to order a
) harness and 7" halogens. Has anyone had any problems doing this?
)
) Alternately I was contemplating mounting small (2") driving lights under the
) bumper so I can see at night.
)
) Thoughts?

) I Put halogens in a few years back. I had to shave some plastic were they
) closed. I used a headlight relay I believe Standard was the brand. Just run
) a hot wire from the battery and split open the one headlight wire incoming
) to the relay and the headlight side to the light side of the relay. not bad
) and saved the headlight switch.
