Hello Club,

For those who are interested:

I have a rig to properly balance wire wheels on a dynamic balancer. It
consists of a left rear splined hub and a specially machined knock off (big,
chamfered hole in the center) for same. You put the hub in your wheel, and
install the knock off. The balance shop puts the assembly on their machine as
if it was a steel wheel. The hub goes against the machine centering plate and
cone, and the outer cone fits in the machined knock off. The wheel rides on
the machined surfaces of the hub and the knock off, and runs true. ( At least
the center hub of the wheel runs true...if your wheels are off, it will show
up immediately.)

You can borrow this if you wish. Pick it up from my shop, or pay shipping
costs.
