aug meeting

Ever wish for a little variety in the location of the meetings ? How about 
you Eastsiders , like to attend a meeting but it`s not practical ? Well here 
is a solution! The Aug meeting will be held at steve and laurie day`s 
BRITISH CAR RANCH  in wenatchee !

Arrive at noon for , and for a mere $5 each , a big lunch will be served , 
then move to the huge air conditioned shop for our meeting , followed by a 
TLC session , covering solutions to the famous Healey scuttle shake at 55 
mph. We will address the diagnosis , going through a vehile check list to 
eliminate basic possibilities related to normal maintenance, and then what 
the 5 special  repair procedures would be to create a smooth driving Healey. 
Right now I am working with my favorite tire store to see if we can set a 
time to actually take the wheels down and use their electronic spin balancer 
and my wire wheel adapter to show the results of just one of the 5 
procedures.

Does anyone have a" shakey" Healey they would like to volunteer as our demo 
car ?

Then dessert and social time to wrap up the day before heading to a motel... 
I have info on two that would suit Healey visitors , with nice safe parking 
visible from the room and either $60 or $100 a night rates, there are $35 a 
night places if so desired .

Another possibility during the day would be a shopping trip to the NAPA 
store I work for , with a very special discount offered on tools , parts , 
accys, and appearance products , if any interest is shown .

Make your plans now, and RSVP by Aug 18th so we can have enough food for 
you, and let me know what you think ! We are really looking forward to 
hosting the club !! Did I mention we have paved parking for 50 cars , and 
non paved for 100 more ? ( We are in the country with 2.5 acres )
