Yee-haw!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We've been around the block in the Sprite!!!  (Under it's own power.)

I filled the rear end, transmission & radiator ... no leaks.
I checked & tightened the spark plugs and installed the battery.

Ignition ON: The fuel pump ran & the ignition light came on.
                       The fuel gauge needle moved.
                       The running lights, turn signals & brake lights
worked.

Ignition OFF: Cranked the engine until 50-60 psi oil pressure registered.

Ignition ON: Pulled the choke, pulled the starter & it fired right up.
                      Idled for ~5 minutes to check for smoke, oil pressure,
etc.

I checked around clearing tools, jacks, ramps, parts, etc.  First gear NOISY,
but it engaged.  Brakes OK, need a little pumping.  Reverse gear a little
noisy.
We're off!!!  Went to the post office, the detail shop and the hardware store;
a
total of four miles.  It feels good, but clearly needs some shake-down time.
