Re: Alignment
1. re-pack front wheel bearings, or have someone like Tom Eller who knows
how to shim the bearings apart, do it!!
2. The specs.are for bias ply tires and must be adjusted for radials. Bill
him-self!! (he's the owner)at Fosters frame is good.
3. Healey break drums are so badly balanced See Foster WHEEL (No connection
to Foster Frame so, stop confusing your self) Have the splines marked inline
with the valve stem and balance them in place. It is the only way Ben would
guarantee his wheel work.
4. Check your steering gearbox for correct oil and idler on opposite side
(some idiot put grease in the tri-carbs).
5. I'd also check rear end mountings and all shock bolts! I found a loose
one on olde AWSM doing the pre flight for Nelson run.
                                                                    Hope
this helps, Jim
