We need a list of all the groups of people going over to Richland from the Puget Sound area on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday so everyone can find a "pack to run with." Let's start with the following list. (Please squeal loudly if I signed you up and you want someone else to be the contact or I got you on the wrong day, I'm going by my poor memory from the June club meeting.) TOUR A Departing Saturday contact: Lois Buhman (neilandlois at comcast.ne) These are our tireless Rendezvous planners, heading over on Saturday to get an early start on making sure Richland is ready for the arriving Healeys. (What town ever truly is?) Not sure what the route is, Lois can you describe? TOUR B Departing Sunday contact: Walt Harrison (wzharrison at comcast.net) These are the people who really want to be prepared, and enjoy a lovely drive over Chinook Pass (appears to be open after the rain on Ranier). Will go through Yakima and enjoy the scenic roads to the Tri-Cities. TOUR C Departing Monday contact: Byron Krystad (bkrystad at gmail.com) Not sure what the route is yet. Some people sound like they've already talked about one. Alex Athie, are you already setting up a route? Do you want to be a contact for a specific tour? I know I want to revisit Hwy 24 between Yakima and Hanford at some point (either coming or going) and I think it would be fun to try as much of Hwy 10 as we could (Cle Elum to Vantage) and then drop down to Richland through Hanford. There's no shame in setting up more than one tour for Monday. We'll all get there eventually! So let's get some chatter going and see if we can't set up a solid list of tours that work for everyone to hitch themselves to.
