Fellow Cascaders,

I was working out in the garage this evening, just talking to my
Mistress. She's a 1960 3000 BN7 just itching to to do some
sightseeing. So I hoped on the internet to get the weather forecast
for Saturday, April 12. The good old weatherman is predicting a high
of 68, partly cloudy with just a slight chance of rain. Not bad for
this time of the year in Seattle - right?

So with that in mind, who's up for a drive?

First up, the Plains on the East side of the Cascades. We'll meet at
the usual meeting place at the Starbucks across from South Center Mall
at 8:30 AM. We'll head north on I-405 and stop for breakfast at The
Brown Bag (about 9:15) - you can meet us here if you like. The Brown
Bag is located at the southeast intersection of I-405 and NE 116th
Street (exit 20A). If you leave here hungry, there's something wrong.

After breakfast we'll continue north on I-405 then take 522 east
toward Monroe, WA. We'll hop on 2 east for a few miles to 203 south.
We'll drive 203 south through the Plains that skirt the East side of
the Cascades. We'll head east on 202 with a brief stop at
Snoqualmie Falls. Anyone want to go over the falls in a barrel?
We'll head up the road about a mile into downtown Snoqualmie and board
the vintage Train for a short ride (about 45 minutes) to North Bend.
Info at http://www.trainmuseum.org/Trains.asp#SpringFall.

We'll head back on the back roads running west, parallel to I-90 where
you can break off and head for home.

So what do you say, who's interested in breaking out the Automobiles?
"Those Aren't Pillows..."

Drop me a note and let me know you want to go. I'll send out an email
on Friday with the number of participants. Hope to see you on the road.

Cheers,
Carlos Cruz
