Subject: History of AH3000

Hello,

I am from Belgium (Brussels) and I recently bought an Austin Healey
3000 MKI from 1959. It is a BT7 (2+2).

I have received recently the "Heritage Certificate" from the British
Motor Industry Heritage Trust. THis confirm the data I had receoived
with the car and give me some more. One of these tells that this car
was sent to Seattle, USA.

So, I am coming to you, as president of the AH Clu, to understand if
you would have or would know how I could look at the history of this
car. I am trying to find what can be so any idea...

Here is the details I have of it:

Car/Chassis Number: H-BT7-L/3284
Engine Number 29D-RU-H/3639
Body Number: 3149

Date of Build 17_18 August 1959
Date of Despatch: 28 August 1959
Destination (Dealer): Seattle, USA

Thank you,

Pierre Meuleman
