Hello Eric and all,

It not only appears, but it's real that you all are having a wonderful time
this year, in spite of a weird weather!

Indeed, we have been missing lots of activities with our old friends of the
CAHC. As, after retiring both of us, and moved to Southern California, we
haven't joined any club here, consequently our activities have been limited to
a few short rides/tours along beautiful beaches and marinas although we can't
blame on the weather, that has been cooperating So Cal style.

 We were looking forward to meet with a good portion of you in San Diego
Conclave 2008 but it looks like only a small group is coming to this Southwest
corner of the country.

We wish you lots of fun in the scheduled events and look forward to see you
probably by late summer (?).

Saturday 6/28/08 - Greenway Challenge Ride> Join tour leaders Gordie Gardner &
Mitzi Butler at the 5th Annual Greenway Days Festival for a prize filled
scavenger hunt. Click

Southcenter Starbucks at 9:00 AM linking with the Eastside participants at the

Hosted by club members Haluk & Maggie Taysi who live in Germany & are
summering in West Seattle. BBQ begins at noon, please call (206) 937-3816 or
send an e-mail to roadsters at taysi.net to RSVP & get driving directions. No
need to bring anything except a beverage of your choice and an adventurous
palate! Haluk is from Turkey and is thinking of some traditional recipies for
the event! NOTE: a short tour was considered but given the location &
logistics the event will be a BBQ only so create your own tour enroute!> >
