Car of the Year Update - September 2008

I'm excited to report that 87 Members have participated across 33 reported
events submitting articles & photos for publication to Cascade. A total of
1396 points have been earned through September including the recent NW Meet
and Aug/Sept issue of Cascade. Here's our Top 10 COY point leaders to date:

Our total points leader at year-end will be recognized with a
yet-to-be-named 3Award2 personally selected by the club's officers for the
the recipient. All remaining participants then earn one chance per point in
a year-end drawing for the following (donated) prizes: TomTom GPS, Flip
Compact Video Camera and an E-Z Up 109 x109 Show Canopy! The prize drawing
will be held at the club's Christmas Party on December 7th.

Only 1 point earning events remains on our calendar; Mt. Baker Tour, October
4th. Jim Slostad is our Tour Leader and will communicate details this coming
week. Information will also be posted to the CAHC Website once plans firm

If you have additional points to submit for things such as non-CAHC events,
impromptu tours or a 4th quarter event not yet on the calendar please
contact Eric Dremel at edremel at comcast.net. Keep in mind that points can be
earned for participation in any event that involves your Healey so give the
contest flyer a second look! Please note that points are not awarded for
participation in the club9s monthly business meeting.
