As you can see in the attached picture, I am in need of assistance.  It ruined
the bumper and original overrides.  If you have your old rear bumper and or
original overrides that you are no longer using, can you let me know?  As you
can see, not only did it tear them apart, but bent them and scratched them
deep.  Most likely the right bracket will need replacing too, but that I can
get through Moss.

If you have your old trunk latch handle, that got broken
too and I would like to replace it with an original if possible too.

The rest
is body work.
Fortuanltely he had insurance I think, so I would be happy to
buy any of the parts you can part with.

HOT DIGGITY!

Preparations are well under way for the 09 Run to the Ranch!

As is the usual, we will be gathering here at the Ranch in Wenatchee at 1pm
after your own lunch arrangements, have exceptional social/welcome/ time, and
then move inside to the air conditioned shop area!

At roughly 2pm, I will put on a tech session for all interested, for those
that enjoy other things, like stained glass or the antique farm house, Laurie
will be touring those topics.

You may have noticed a little warmer temperatures lately............. we
decided to make a change. Instead of heading out into the heat and doing a
driving tour, we are going to offer the group the choice of staying put in the
shop....did I mention it is air conditioned? We can extend the social time,
the tech session time, and create some more open shop time to talk about your
favorite topic.. your  own car! Our neighbor even has a swimming pool right up
the driveway!( They will be in Hawaii, so don`t worry! They asked us to stir
up the water for them.)

Then we plan dinner for 5pm, and it`s a brand new menu, never before seen at
RTTR, delicious!

Following that we will have the club meeting, and after that, more SHOP TIME!

SO, this year, bring that bottle of wine with you, your bathing suit, and a
smile, and we will have an outstanding time together!



Now for the extended invite. Anyone reading this that has not attended,
PLEASE- PLEASE come join us for this day. We have so much fun, we want to
share that with even more folks. It matters not a whit if your car is not with
you, you decide to travel in a BN9 with air conditioning, or if you don`t even
have one yet!

What does matter is getting to know your fellow clubmates better and taking
advantage of the friendship and resources we have to offer each other!

Dennis and Jan,

Jack Jcobsen, Richard Mayor and I  are going to attend the Healey  
Streamliner and Endurance Car runs in  about a month.  I plan to leave  
Portland on Monday morning  9/14, 2009 and return a week later, on or  
about 9/21.  I am  planning to drive I-80 to Boise, overnight there,  
then on the second  day drive to Wendover, Utah.  We'd spend the days  
out at the  Salt Flats Wednesday through Saturday and begin the return  
trip on  Sunday, stopping in Boise and on into Portland by Monday   
evening.

We will be taking my '99 Dodge Grand Caravan which can set  4  
comfortably and 5-6 if we use the back bench seat.  I was  wondering if  
anyone from the Cascade Club was planning to go and  would want to  
share a ride?  They would probably already need  to have motel  
reservations in Wendover or the room rent at this time  might be quite  
high.  Let me know if there is any interest,  please.

Hi All!

Bring it on! We are ready!

We expect hot weather Fri. and cooling off to 86 on Sat. so an early morning
run will be perfect for you to come to Wenatchee.

I am planning on not doing a car tour in the possible heat, but have a
destination in mind if the group demands it/or it`s cooler. Your choice.

Bring that bottle of wine for dinner ( pork and beef), and bathing suit this
year, we have the run of the pool.

planning to drive I-80 to Boise, overnight there,

day drive to Wendover, Utah.  We'd spend the days
out at the
Salt Flats Wednesday through Saturday and begin the return
trip on
Sunday, stopping in Boise and on into Portland by Monday

evening.

We will be taking my '99 Dodge Grand Caravan which can set

comfortably and 5-6 if we use the back bench seat.  I was
wondering if
anyone from the Cascade Club was planning to go and
would want to
share a ride?  They would probably already need
to have motel
reservations in Wendover or the room rent at this time
might be quite
high.  Let me know if there is any interest,
please.

raining in the morning, this is a great number.  The weather cleared in the
afternoon and the cars dried out.

Wow, almost 1800 rare and beautiful cars, in a totally unique setting.We
walked and looked all day, and only got a surface look at it all! Ulike
anything we have seen!



Huge KUDO`S to Dennis Saxon for all the work in making it possible, arranging
that special parking area,  getting us there and back, and looking out for the
group while we were there, he even single handedly cleared a blocking
accident, opened a closed road, got us in before the official opening,  and
turned the rain into sunshine!



A special thanks to Lois, our Activity director, who quietly showed up on her
own to watch over our parked cars , so we could all enjoy the museum. You are
a class act Lois!
