Finding the Future Campaign 2009
The Future 50 Network challenges you and your Club to pick out the next
generation of
Healey owners. Thatbs why we have created the Finding the Future Contest for
2009.
Herebs how it works:
The contest is simple: drive the cars, show off the cars, make friends, win
the contest.
Easy, right?
o Select events in your area in which to participate throughout the year.
Good
examples include: otherbmarque car shows, cruisebins, SCCA events, high
school
homecoming events, community or holiday parades, etc.
o Shine up the Healeys and show up in force. Webll supply Future50 Network
freebies, Spotters Guides, Postcards and Posters b bring these, and give
them
away.
o Make new friends, and get them interested in your Healeys.
o Take plenty of photographs and author a write up telling us how many of
your
Club members participated, how many Healeys showed up and how many
bimpressionsb you made. Send all this to future50 at healeyclub.org. The
cutoff
for submissions is October 1, 2009.
o At the Fall Delegatebs meeting winners will be announced. Judging criteria
is
based on attendance, participation, impressions and originality of event.
Bribes
are accepted and encouraged.
Donbt forget, this is a competition! Best Club wins. Every club is eligible.
Regardless of
size, each has the same odds of winning. Fame, Glory and Fantastic Prizes
await the
winning club. These include:
o A spread in Healey Marque highlighting your Clubbs entries.
o Club feature on the Future 50 Network webpage.
o A snazzy trophy.
The time is now to seize upon the growing car culture in todaybs youth b
our goal is to
get as many Healeys out in the view of young people as possible during 2009.
Never has
there been a better time to inspire the next generation of car nuts in your
area, and
attract and engage the next generation of Healey owners and Club leaders. The
Healey
Club will not grow and continue to succeed unless we make an effort to reach
out now.
The Future 50 Network has designed this Challenge to create an organized
effort across
the country to find the next generation of owners and leaders and preserve
the
tradition of Healey Clubs throughout the country. Throughout the course of the
year
Future 50 Network administrators are here to provide support and suggestions
for your
Club. Canbt think of a local event in which to participate? Call us! Webll
help you
brainstorm!
Good luck and have fun!

Hi Reid,
I'm sure you have heard from others, but the Cascade mail server does not
allow attachments, period. It is a security issue. The mail server is an
automated software package that collects in-coming e-mail and forwards it to
the members of the list.
If you can, try to copy the PDF and paste it into the e-mail contents.

Hi all,
The email below my signature and the attached PDF describe a new AHCA
program
to encourage reaching the "next generation" of Healey enthusiasts.
Please
take a look and think about how the Cascade AHC can do its part. Thanks and
Happy Healeying!

Greetings Delegates - As previously announced at the 2008 Fall Delegate's
meeting the Future 50 Network is issuing a challenge to the local clubs for
2009. We have outlined the contest in the attached document. I hope each of
you will find a way for your club to participate. Please feel free to
contact
me with any questions. We expect to have materials available by early summer
that can be used when you attend these events. However, one of the best ways
to get young people interested is to refer them to www.HealeyClub.org or
hand
them a back issue of the beautiful Healey Marque magazine.Good
luck!BenBenjamin L. MooreChairman/Founder, Future 50 NetworkAustin-Healey
