Frank and Mary Hosick have an ice chest that fits into their MG. They have some space for us to put in items for the dinner Sat. night that really need to be kept cold. Just keep in mind that a container cannot be more than 10 inches wide. Thanks Mary and Frank. Please check the web page for information on upcoming tours. Craig was an active core club member for over fifteen years and I am certain that most of the Cascade members have at least one or two stories where he was a key figure. Please pass on your memories, stories and pictures to Jim, Terri and me so we can give him a fitting tribute in this next issue. It doesn't have to be fancy or the next great American novel, just something that conveys how you saw Craig or an experience you would like to share. Yes, we would kindly like all of your submissions as of yesterday, but no later than August 10th. I will be at the Mt St Helens tour, so if you want to bring me a disc or a floppy, that would work great too. My images are photomontage (real looking collages). My first book was published nationally in May - http://steampotville.com - and I'm currently working on my second book which features a car on two pages. I was wondering if anyone in the club would allow me to come and take some pictures of their Austin Healey with the top down and preferably in a garage (for lighting). I can't offer any cash for it, but I can name the person in the next book in the thanks. Thank you for helping me out. She crashed into our left front, denting in the whole thing. We were able to drive back home, then take the Tahoe to Morton. Phil chose to return home, while I led the tour with Dennis Saxon as chauffeur up, and Jean Plewman-Smith on the way back. 13 big Healeys, an MG, a few BJ9s. Mt St Helens played peek-a-boo. Rain on the way back. Party time at our house. Food and company were great as always. Hopefully his big cooler can make an exit thru the front doors since the hatch back doesn't work at the moment! Most everyone headed home this morning, probably due to cloudy conditions that precluded seeing any mountains for the second day in a row. But 9 of us went for a ride on the Mt Rainier Scenic Railroad anyway. It was a beautiful excursion thru the woods from Elbe to Mineral Lake and back. After hamburgers at Scaleburger, we headed back to the "cabin" and the others headed north and east. I hope everyone made it home with NO MORE damage reports!! Two was two too many!!
