We had 6 Healeys, 1 Solstice and 5 BJ (s. We had a bit of rain on the tour to Kanaskat State Park with better weather once we arrived for our picnic. The fire Neil built made for great s'mores. It was also fun to sing happy birthday to Dennis Saxon and pass out cupcakes in his honor. Congratulations to the Kentucky Derby winners: Jim McDermott won 1st place with Super Saver Greg Hill won 2nd place with Icebox Jahn Johnson won 3rd place with Paddy O Prado The money is in the mail. I just wanted to send out a quick note to introduce myself. I recently joined the Cascade AH Club and am excited get to know everyone. Wish I could have joined you for the picnic, but it was my son's birthday and our plans conflicted; I expect we'll meet in due time. I bring a 1960 Frogeye to the club. It's an original car, unrestored and a little rough around the edges, but given its age, it is in remarkably good shape. Someday, I'll put together a project plan for the car, but for now, I just want to drive! The current Production Record Trace price is #39, which is ~$57 US. Walt ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------- The British Motor Heritage Industry Trust can offer you a certificate suitable for framing. It shows the details of your vehicle from the original factory records. The following makes and models are available... AUSTIN HEALEY 1953-71 - Longbridge and Abingdon built (not Warwick built or 100 'S') The information contained on each Production Record Trace Certificate is an excerpt from the original production records for the vehicle with the chassis number quoted on the certificate. All information from these records is included on the certificate. We carry out research on the basis of the chassis (or other) number quoted to us by the enquirer. We regret that we cannot accept liability in cases where an incorrect number has been quoted by an enquirer even if this leads to an incorrect car being researched. You are therefore urged to quote more than the chassis number. Please quote engine number or body number or UK registration mark and date of first registration where applicable. Always describe the car accurately (make, model and type of body). While we take every care to ensure correctness of information supplied, neither BMIHT nor any of its associated Trusts or companies will be held liable for any errors or omissions or consequences thereof. A Production Record Trace Certificate in itself does not constitute verification of the present condition or the actual identity of a particular vehicle. We reserve the right to demand proof of ownership of a vehicle before issuing a certificate. All enquiries must be pre-paid. Credit Card orders may be faxed to the phone number listed below. Sorry we do not take telephone orders. A refund will be made if for whatever reason we are unable to issue a certificate for a particular vehicle. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- --- British Motor Industry Heritage Trust Archive Department Heritage Motor Centre Banbury Road Gaydon, Warwick CV35 OBJ telelphone from the US: 011-44-1926-641188 fax from the US: 011-44-1926-645103 Please see the link below for the latest info on pricing for Heritage Certificates - prices may change due to current exchange rates. http://www.heritage-motor-centre.co.uk/pages/exhibitions/exhibitions_archive_ services.html From mmasumot at mindspring.com Wed May 26 14:54:09 2010 From: mmasumot at mindspring.com (mmasumot at mindspring.com) Date: Wed, 26 May 2010 13:54:09 -0700 Subject: Fw: Early Rods....
