The tripometer on the speedometer of my BN7 does not register the
miles. The odometer works fine and is very accurate. Does anyone know of a
Seattle area
speedometer shop that has experience working on Smiths gauges?
Thanks,
Ron Layton

Have you checked out Nisonger Instruments, in New York? Check out their web
site: http://www.nisonger.com/
It is not Seattle, but they have been in business since the 1940s and are
the Smiths warranty and service center for the US. They can fix, clean and
calibrate your odometer, but you have to mail it in. I did the Sprite
odometer last January, $200 and took about a month. It came back cleaned,
calibrated and works smoothly at all RPMs. (I can help you with the
calibration preparation under separate e-mail.)
