Going to Rendezvous without the Sprite.

Now that the exhaust header and muffler have been replaced the engine has a
miss.  This morning I drove to the local garage and we checked the
compression . #1 cylinder has 55 psi, compared to 155 psi for cylinder #2.
John suspects the #1 cylinder exhaust valve is bad/burnt.  So, we'll not be
driving the Sprite to Vancouver on Monday after all.  (I hate when things
like this happen.)

 

We are still going, just in the VW Passat.
