There is a nice, straight 1965 BJ8, (Healey Blue) for sale in the Olympia area
if anyone is interested.  It is a nice driver that had an engine rebuild about
9 years ago and has a little more than 500 miles on it since then.  It seems
peppy and OD works very well.  No scuttle shake.  It has painted wire wheels.

360-754-1503.  He has no email but his daughter does.  He will get the email
from her at dldefree1 at comcast.net.  He's asking $32,000 but that is
negotiable.  He has numerous parts and all records and receipts on the car.

For all those brave (maybe slightly crazy) club members who braved the iffy
weather report and went on the Mt. Baker tour---thank you for the support.

Also, a huge thank you to Nancy and Bruce Taylor for letting us picnic in
their warm, dry dining room and for the wonderful pie and ice-cream for
dessert.  Isn't the Healey world full of fun and surprises???

We had a great time.  Special thanks to Lois for leading the tour and going 
just the right speed up the mountain, to Mitzi for the survival kits and 
sing-alongs, and the Taylor's for sharing their picnic shelter.  Sorry for 
not naming anyone in the photos, but terrible remembering everyone's names. 
Hoping for an impromptu run soon.

Two weeks ago today 27 Healeys parked in the warm sunshine on the Olympic
Plaza at Whistler, BC. Tonight on the news the Whistler weather cam
showed the Plaza under snow!!!!  Timing is everything!

I do have photos I hope to post on Flickr, but we've overused our
Internet and I have to shrink down the files.  Stay tuned!

All,

 

Zoe is in Indiana, her mom Betty passed away last Thursday.  It is a relief
that it is over, in part for the long, slow decline.  I think Zoe is good,
overall.

 

Zoe has be cleaning out Betty's things and some legal stuff, and is coming
home Monday.  But, we will not be @ the monthly meeting on Tuesday.  With
regrets.
