The heater control tap in our BJ7 which is located near the engine 
block, right-rear and is connected via hose to the heater was leaking 
(still original probably) and I ordered a new one from Victoria British 
(very expensive) last year and installed it this March. Since then, open 
or closed, the new one leaks as well. These brass taps look like they 
are hand-made in a tiny shop in Asia somewhere. Any suggestions for a 
solution? I was even thinking about replacing it with a self-made piece 
to connect the hose without the tap. If I had my welder and tools here 
in the States, no problem.
