We have tour 4----Phil and Beckie Daniels will host some of the BC club
members Wed. night and leave Onalaska around 9 AM Thursday morning.  They will
meet up with some of the Oregon Club about 12 for lunch at McMenamins
Cornelius Pass Roadhouse and Imbrie Hallb4045 NW Cornelius Pass Tad,
Hillsboro, OR.  97124.  They may team up with Larry Zessin some place along
the way.

My brother-in-law lives in Quincy and sent me the attached picture of the
fires.
This is a photo taken on the evening of 9 September 2012 from the heights
above the north end of East Wenatchee, looking across the Columbia River at
Wenatchee and the hills behind it.  There are at least 5 visible fires in this
photo.  Not exactly sure where Steve and Laurie's house is in this shot but it
certainly puts things in perspective.

We're safely home from an absolutely fabulous NW Meet at Oregon Garden Resort
in Silverton, Oregon. My computer and internet have allowed me to post
pictures on Flickr....woo-hoo!  If Mrs Beesley's hamburger place is the first
picture, they're still in reverse order. Enjoy them anyway! Plus, the pictures
after the one of our garage are of the Oregon Healey club meeting on Sauvie
Island in June when we ate lunch in Bob and Cheryl Wiley's hay barn. If any
magazine editors want the original full files of any photos, let me know. I

Hi All,

I'm ready to install a new gasket on my fuel tank sending unit.  I'm using a
1/32" gasket in rubber/fiber suitable for fuel pumps, etc.  I don't know
which, if any, gasket dressing I should use.  I have lowered the fuel level to
just below the opening and am concerned that any dressing will be affected by
the gas fumes and not set up.  Hope someone can help.

All club members have a common renewal date of November 1st each year.

Louie's shop  did the paint and body work on my BN7 restoration.  Zero
points deducted in 2 concours judgings.  He also advertises in the Cascade.

Cascaders!  This is an
election year!  A nominating committee
has been assembled and a number of nominees will be brought forward at our
October meeting.  The October meeting
will be your chance to make any nominations that you would like to submit.  We
would ask that you check with the person
that you would like to nominate before the meeting so that all nominees
actually would accept the nomination and the position if elected.

If we have more than one person running for a position a
ballot will be published in the Cascade Magazine.

Nominations can be made for any position. At this time Ron Layton has
indicated that he
will run for Membership Chairperson and Jim McDermott will run for Treasurer.

Please read the Club Constitution on electing Officers.  The Constitution can
be found on our web
page.  If there is only one person
standing for each position at the October meeting, those standing for office
can be confirmed by those present at the October meeting.
