I am working to include more of this sort of tour/event. Chuck Breckenridge and Craig Anderson used to keep us involved a bit. I talked to David Phillips who races a Healey and he put me on to the web page for the Sovern races at Pacific Raceway for the historic races July 5th through 7th. I got an email from Bill Hardraff who is in charge of the car coral for the car display. He sent me the registration form. I asked him about the area surface where the cars are parked and he said the raceway has put new gravel down. The cost for registration is as follows Friday or Saturday or Sunday one day only car and driver is $30 and $25 for one passenger. $55 total A weekend pass for car and driver is $50 and $40 for passenger. We are asked to return only one form per club. Those interested in attending this event and registering for the coral need to contact me. The deadline is June 10th. We have a tour scheduled for August 3rd to the raceway in Shelton. Harry and Verna Orr have organized this tour. Harry has secured time for us to do a few laps. We also have a number of club members who attend the Portland ABFM and the historic races.
