[cahc] pumpkin tour

Saturday October 24th:  With only 10% chance of rain for Saturday and four
cars signed up,  I am going to lead the pumpkin tour  to Thomasson Family
Farm.

 

We will leave SC Starbucks at 10:30 am, tour via backroads  and arrive at
the pumpkin farm about noon.    You will get to pick out your own pumpkin,
maybe take a hayride and enjoy the beautiful farm. The cost of the pumpkin
varies according to size---$3 to $20.

 

Please take your pumpkin home and enjoy carving it.  Bring it to the Club
Meeting Tuesday September 27th where the members will cast their vote for
the best pumpkin.  There will be a prize for the winner.

 

We will leave the farm about 1 PM and stop for lunch at Krain Corner and
tour home via backroads.

 

I will be driving Tweety but you are welcome to join us in your BJ 9. Let me
know if you plan to go.  

 

Bring an extra pair of shoes to wear in the pumpkin patch.  It is a bit
muddy.
