[Chapman-era] SimpleSevens Major reworking and offer

The month of January will bring major changes to SimpleSevens. The site may be temporarily 'down' as hosting and email services are moved. My intention is that by the end of January, I'll begin building content back up car by car, story by story, bit by bit. I'll be posting new information along with recalling the old history, technical info and your stories as well.

THE OFFER: In the meantime, if anyone would like a complete, current version of SimpleSevens on CD ROM, please contact me and I'll send you a copy. The CD will simply be a duplicate of what is available online. It will include content that is actually no longer linked from SimpleSevens, so it's a treasure trove of info that you probably have never seen, including the entire 'Details' directory. With the amount of content there I can't really 'optimize' it for running perfectly on the CD, but you'll be able to navigate the disc for the most part like the web site -- and you'll also need to go right through the file directory to find the treasures that are no longer linked in the main site... I guarantee that you can spend many, many hours reviewing the material and that you'll find things that you never knew were on SimpleSevens, or had forgotten as this does include content that has been posted over a ten year span -- there is actually over 500 megabytes
 of data in all!

I offer this for two reasons: 1. as something to keep you occupied while the web site is down, and 2. to raise a bit of funding to offset cost of some additional software and hardware I'll be using to maintain the site.

A copy of the site will be $40 shipped in the USA, or $45 shipped outside of USA. For anyone who prefers, I can put the data onto a USB FLASH drive for an additional $5. Payment can be through paypal (to johnd at ciesadesign.com) or any manner of US funds. Depending on demand, please allow me a week or two to ship.

Cheers,
John Donohoe

PS. Please be assured that your payment is to cover the cost of preparing and copying the files and the navigation structure of the web site -- you are NOT buying the rights to redistribute the material -- all material remains the sole property those who originally provided it to me for public presentation on SimpleSevens.
