We took part in he concours next to the RAC club on Saturday and it was great, the RAC club is a spectacular place .My car has a smaller flywheel than most , it is 50.5 inches circumference , I beleive most are 64.5 inches , I think that this gave me better acceleration but I lost it on the hills .
On Sunday we had a good run starting off at 7.56 with 4 passengers , my 77 year old mother and her friend were sitting on the rear seat with their legs dangling over the the back , we did struggle a bit getting them loaded on but plenty of help was on hand in Hyde Park.
We took the rear passengers about 10 miles to Norbury , by this time I think they had had enough and i was a bit worried of my top gear slipping on the following hills .
We reached the sea front at about 1.45 pm after a short coffee stop and a pit stop for refulling .
The Oldsmobile went very well after is 50 year rest ,but i feel that it should have more power in top gear so there is room for improvement .
