I told my sister-in-law the other day that I had hoped as I got older that
I'd look more like Sean Connery, but instead I'm looking more like Wilford
Brimley.

Her reply was, "It could be worse, you could look like Gabby Hayes."

She's got a point.

 Being an engineer and a NON-wordsmith, I had to look up Patina.  1.  A
thin layer of rust or green corrosion that appears on copper or copper
alloys.  2.  The Sheen on an antique surface produced by use and age.

I think #2 hits the mark!
