[Roadsters] Gas cap--1970

If I am reading one of my books correctly, the 70 cars did not come with a locking gas cap. Is this indeed true and accurate? If so, does this include all 70s? Or just US cars? Doesn't someone on this list have a RHD 70? If so I would really like to hear from you. 

I plan on changing to a locking cap but would like to know what was done at the factory.
