[Roadsters] Was Twisties Needed: Now why 67.5 is black

If your Roadster was a 67 and Nissan knew about the anti-chrome mandate
I could understand the black gages, but being such an early 66... Did
Nissan know about the mandate over a year in advance, or were they
experimenting with black.

Either way Mike, you have the ultra rare "black gage '66"!

Phil, I have always wondered about my black speedo & tach ever since you
pointed out this to me. I asked the original owner if they were ever
replaced, and he insists no. I am the second owner, so that is the way
it came. I was wondering if anyone else has a similar dash on an early
'66 (or late '65). It had to happen to more than one car...My car also
has the crankcase vent hose running from the Oil Fill tower to the
breather, rather than from the back on the valve cover. Lots of people
first think it ia a 1500.
