[Roadsters] Fuel Pump removal tips?

Hello,
I posted this to the other list as well, I am trying to remove the fuel pump but it? bumps up against the frame rail and can not be wedged out. I need to change it so that I can drive to the Datsun BBQ tommorrow. It is leaking out the bottom and I have cleaned it and tightened the screws but it can not be saved.
Any removal tips appreciated. It has the thick flange and spacer block. Might I have to remove the studs to get it out?
