Quick Recap

Contrary to popular opinion :), I forsook the Zanax and Valium and just went
for a ride with Mr V. Laury, and I enjoyed it immensly. Sticky tires and a 2.2
motor with vigorous application of steering and disk brakes made life less
challenging. We had a blast, the weather was great, the roads (as usual) were
fantastic and mostly traffic free and except for a worrying moment with an
incoming sheriff (which would have netted us, a vigorously driven bug, an
equally voracious 911,3 for the price of one stop ) we were unencumbered with
local officialdom.

Over 125 cars - 150+ people - 1000 miles in beautiful blossoming countryside -
3 days from heaven.

Eric/Fergus/Les C. were the roadsters (we were in Victor's 510) - but there
was so much more - a dune buggy driven by kilt-clad occupants, a 300SL, 3
Citroen DS - more Porsches than you could count - if you even cared to - some
cool alfas, - Jag C-type, Maserati, Volvo Amazon, and P1800's, just a
hoot.
Remember 2009 - 2nd Thursday in April - just turn up and be prepared to rock
and roll.

Peter
