[Roadsters] Roadster Trailer Lights Connector Wiring Question

 The way my lights are set up is the turn signal is by itself and the  brake and tail light (tail light is on when the lights are turned on) are together.  I think that is the 2nd set up you are describing below which would need an adaptor.  The way it is now, I can either get the tail light (when lights turned on) working or the brake working depending on how I wire it.  Splitting the feed wire from the connector and hooking up to both of those wires independently at the same time isn't working, if that makes sense.

Come back with some suggestions.
