The 69-70 SPL/SRL were supposed to have a dash light dimmer fitted. Have a look at this link: - http://tinyurl.com/5cbgw2 Look at the bottom right corner of the schematic and you'll see it. It is mounted on the dash panel. "What dimmer? If I may be clueless again...."
