Does that really work? I had a major mice invasion in my garage last year.
Eventually caught them all with traps. But, not before the little vermints
left a few turds in my Roadster.
If there's something that discourages them, I'd like to give it a try. I've
heard cotton balls soaked in peppermint oil works, also.

Bounce sheets inside and in the exhaust to keep the mice at bay

Steel wool stuffed into the end of the exhaust system keeps them out. Mice
will actually crawl the full length of the exhaust system and build a nest
inside a cylinder. Increases the compression but not in a good way. I've heard
that moth balls work but don't know for sure. My thoughts would be to take
about a dozen mouse traps, bait them with peanut butter (mice go crazy for it)
and sit them around in plain sight. Check them every once and a while. At work
we would occasionally have mice move in. I always left one trap out where it
could be seen. When I caught the first mouse I would put out 3 or 4 more. The
idea was to catch them right away before they established a breeding colony.
