[Roadsters] oil gauge

Question: I have a l970 2000 Roadster, when I took her for a drive the
other day the oil gauge went to O then up and back down and stayed down,
I recently had the oil changed and it's clean on the dip stick. Does
anyone have any ideas what could be wrong? Thanks, Katy  cjs37 at juno.com
