[Roadsters] Tail/Brake light question

Okay, since the list has been quiet, I'll add a stupid question.

On my '67, should both tail lights come on, and should both also light up with
the brakes?  I'm pretty sure only one set comes on.  Even then, I don't think
they are very bright.  I've been too busy driving my car and not working on my
car like I should.  At least when I do look, I'll know what is supposed to
happen, right?
