[Roadsters] red head light wire

Sorry, I keep forgettting my signature no longer has my Roadsters listed. This is for my 70 1600. My 70 2000 has been hacked by a PO and none of the wires are the same color nor are any of the original connectors there, so that reference is lost to me.

I have what appears to be an extra wire coming off the wires connected to
the head light. According to the diagram, it goes to the fuse box but I do
not see another wire under the hood to which to connect this solid red wire.
I do not remember disconnecting it when I disassembled the front end nor do
I have any reference to it in my notes. 

Any thoughts or ideas?
