I think that hate is a pretty strong word to apply to a mechanical device.

As a mechanical engineer, I admire the energy-conserving regenerative
technology used in the Prius; as a visual artist, I deplore its pedestrian
styling; and as an auto enthusiast, I am amused by its mundane,
one-dimensional functionality.

Reports on the multi-supercar incident in japan vary as to the exact cause --
did the over-rich, under-smart driver of the lead Ferrari F430 lose control
while passing the Prius, or did the driver of the Prius, in a fit of umbrage
at the sight of this convoy of smug 1-percenters driving supercars whose
purchase price was individually several times his annual income and
collectively several times his lifetime earnings, succumb to a fit of road
rage and hip-check the Ferrari into the guardrail? We may never knowb&

Just goes to prove, though, what the man says in the song: "Good looks,
education, and money are so often wasted on the slow."

and yes I hate the Prius for just being a soulless car, if you can
even call it a car.

Maybe it should be called a "transportation pod", a true car is much more
to me.
