It looks like the eye has already made landfall and is heading inland. I've
never been in a hurricane, but I think that means it should start to weaken.

house is shaking, doors are bending in and out, 30ft tree down at the front,
sounds like a jet engine outside.  the Datto is still OK!  Genset power at
the
moment, don't know for how long.  looking forward to daybreak....
