While it's nice to dream that an insurance company will use that as
reference, I suspect they will come back with an offer of "totaled for less
than $1000" unless you have a policy that specifically states a replacement
value. My 1600 lost most of the driver's side back to the rear fender when I
got run off the road in 1985 by a drunk coming down the wrong side of a
divided highway at 5 in the afternoon. She ran more than 20 cars off the
road that day. My coverage against an uninsured motorist paid almost $200
:-(

Subject: [Roadsters] 67.5 U20 ebay link?

Does anyone still have the link to the uber nice 67.5 2000 that didn't meet
reserve on eBay? I think the bidding hit 38-39K if memory serves. I
believe
the auction ended 2-3 weeks ago. Searched the "completed auctions" but this
only goes back 14 days. I think this would be a solid example of roadster
value in the event that mine was ever crashed, stolen or otherwise damaged.
Granted mine isn't quite that nice but it is good to see that the roadster
value is stable if not increasing!

Thanks!
