wow.
you guys are really awesome. in less than an hour i've had at no less than
10 responses. That's awesome to see that there is so much enthusiasm for
this board and these cars.

For those that have asked, all is well w/the 2002. it's an awesome little
car (still has the 4 speed, 38/38 weber, strong compression engine) that is
a family member. This car came up and I'm just kicking it around. Also I'm
in Pittsburgh, PA.

I littteraly JUST got an email back from the buyer on the condition of the
car and what i should be expecting. He did send some pics and as soon as i
can upload them i will and send out a link..as a quick glance, here is what
i can see from them (My comments are in italics). Obviously I'll need to
get under the car to see how 'bad' the floor is, but it's at least what i
know for now.

His asking price is ~$3200 and is very negotiable. I've been trolling
craigslist, and ebay (not the greatest...i know) just to get a gauge on a
reasonable price. Please lmk what you think.

Thanks again!
Dave

Car info: Minus's:

- no body side molding *(Non existent at all. Actually still have the
'grayness' left behind by them)*
-drivers front fender attachment point at base near door needs repaired -
not sure how extensive
-rockers are solid/holes in fender liner near rocker in front of both rear
wheels[common area]
-I have the radio
-drivers side floor is "soft" for lack of a better term *(This kind of
worries me. I'm sure I'll need to get something from a parts car, and east
coast shipping is going to be a few bucks.)*
-no console
-seats need re-padded *(I'm ok w/the interior work. It's an old car. It
happens.)*
-interior needs restored
-dash cracked [pretty normal for age]

Pluse's:
-clear PA title in my name
-I do not believe it has ever been in an accident
-new top
-all glass is good
-motor & trans supposedly were rebuilt approx. 400 miles ago but have no
hard documentation to prove it
 -motor# matches data plate
-frame# matches data plate & dash plate

I also have several misc. parts + a complete 1600 engine with carbs & 4 spd
trans.
