Subject: Gear reduction starter


I need to replace the starter in my early 67.  Has anyone used the gear
reduction replacement from the fork trucks?  It looks different; there is no
nose bushing.  Does it bolt right up?  Is it short enough to get in past the
exhaust?  Would love to hear from experience.
