[Roadsters] 1600 clutch ok for 2000?

Check with Riley Curtis at Lynchburg (VA) Nissan.
Last time I spoke with him the Nissan part had gotten stupid expensive and he had sourced a unit of equal clamping strength from an OE supplier at a much better price.

It may fit, and it might work, sort of, but it could be easily be the wrong pressure plate. Here's why - both of the roadsters and the 510s use a clutch and pressure plate combo that's 200 mm, or roughly 8 inches. However there were/are several different pressure plates with different clamping pressures. The part you were sold may cross reference to the old part number but it may not be what you need.
The OE stock 510 part had the lowest pressure, the OE roadster clutch was somewhat higher and required greater pedal effort. The 20111 (the last bit of the part number) OE replacement had the highest pressure of the Datsun PPs, and wasn't the most enjoyable to use in stop and go traffic. AFAIK, these are long no longer available, but check with Riley at Lynchburg Nissan, Dean or Les to see what is available or an acceptable substitute.
HTH,
Ron

Not sure I got the right clutch but company swears it is right for 2000. Any thoughts? Larry.

OK, a few other things I just noticed:
Homemade front and rear bumpers (anyone recognize the source, I don’t)
Rims look to have been cleared of the large diameter front hub by moving them outward with spacers.
I guess the “spinners on the front only” is a personal choice, although with the front hubs I think it is a tougher fit up front.
Anything else I missed?
