[Roadsters] rear brake cylinders

Dave,

I had my brake cylinders sleeved with stainless steel tubing. This drastically reduces the corrosion that comes with having a steel plunger in an aluminum cylinder. I think that it is better than new and will pay off in the long run. I used Karps Power Brake. Budget about $95 per wheel cylinder (less than new for sure).

Respectfully,

Subject: [Roadsters] rear brake cylinders

I’m thinking of attempting a rebuild of the rears before replacing them.

two questions

1. how do I tell if they are 11/16 or 3/4? its an early 67 so it should be 11/16, but there’s no guarantee.
2. best place to buy replacement rear cylinders if this doesn’t work out

thanks!
