On Saturday 1/1/22 I joined a group of friends for a drive through the
Santa Cruz Mountains. It was a surprisingly large group (16+ cars) and
everyone had a blast.

When I left home and hit the freeway it was 36 degreesF...I think I figured
out how to stay reasonably warm at low speed but 85-90mph cruising my
fingers start to freeze  :lol:

Those seats are 67.5 seats as appropriate for the car.  If you go to Bring A Trailer, there are more pictures of the car there from 2015 along with some interesting commentary.  Very nice car, but not quite exactly what the listing suggests in my opinion.

So those are bolt-on headrests, not slip-in headrests. 

Is the seat vinyl correct for a ?67? 

Those are definitely ?later? Solexes and valve cover. 

Regarding the 2015 BaT listing, that?s a gem. Same car - the fourth or fifth time?

Yes, correct pattern and bolt on headrests.  Later solex carbs. I did not pay much attention to the cam cover, but not all of the half year cars had the rivet in the C version.

I?d hang onto them, they are hard to find in any condition. Dean has vinyl for them & any decent auto upholstery shop should be able to sculpt foam to fit

I've had excellent luck with Datsun-Roadster-Parts.com.

Paul has been very helpful and easy to work with.

The photoshoot was fun because my friend joined us in his Datsun 510 and we
used the roadster to take video and rolling shots of the 240Z. The location
was beautiful so naturally I had to take some shots of the roadster :)

Catching up with reading. Fell way behind due to spending winters in 
Mesa, AZ while my magazines get delivered to the summer house in 
Flagstaff, AZ. (I hate snow!) But that having been said, I just read the 
article in Grassroots Motorsports about the 240Z. Cool to have a 
connection to the car, tenuous as it is. I mean, I read your posts and 
watch your videos so I feel like I know you and now a car you've had a 
part in creating is in one of my favorite periodicals. Keep up the good 
work both with the cars and the videos.
