Starting 2022 off the right way with a New Year's Day drive!

On Saturday 1/1/22 I joined a group of friends for a drive through the
Santa Cruz Mountains. It was a surprisingly large group (16+ cars) and
everyone had a blast.

When I left home and hit the freeway it was 36 degreesF...I think I figured
out how to stay reasonably warm at low speed but 85-90mph cruising my
fingers start to freeze  :lol:

The recent rains left us with lush scenery. It was so clear we could see
across to the Pacific. We took Bear Creek Rd to HWY9, 35 to alpine and 84
back up to Alice's Restaurant:
