What Pat said as well as the fact that the Phillips head screws are JIS on the Roadsters.

I don’t recall for sure but I thought the screws that held the top & bottom clam shell covers together on my 67.5 were Phillips. If you are talking about the screws that hold the ignition switch/lock to the column, at least some if them may be headless security screws that break off when tightened, requiring a Dremel to cut slots in them.

Fasteners underneath ignition switch surround?

Anyone know what fastener types and sizes are used in the barrels underneath the ignition switch clam shell surround on a ‘68 ?

I have tried Philips and standard screwdriver heads and neither seems to bite properly.
