Oh, here's something useful... The results and links to photos for the
March DMVR Solo 2 are posted at www.dmvrscca.org/s2_0303r.htm and the Solo
2 schedule page has been updated with Iowa Region and MiDiv Solotime Series
events.

The web site?
Sam's Solo List?
Drifting?

I will be leaving for MAM at 10:30 tomorrow if all goes well. Paddock
should be interesting since the first 1 1/2 rows are used up by rental
sheds. I'm not sure how MAM is going to keep people from using the area
near the sheds. Actually not sheds, just a metal canopy.
See ya there,

This is as much a test of my new email address subscription, as it is a
'good luck' to all drivers in finding paddock space.
I know some took my message the other day as some kind of negative
outlook, but the simple fact is it is a realistic outlook. The weather
forecast for tomorrow may actually help out.
Optimists see the glass as half-full.
Pessimists see the glass as half-empty.
Realists acknowledge the glass exists.
Have a save trip all.

I was talking with Scott Cooper last weekend and I believe he knew of one.
I copied him in on this. Also, while at MAM, it appeared there was a
portable one at the 1/8 drag strip. It could have been some new fangled
rice morpher too!
Karl, did you add some new speed parts to the Acura? :)

Mopar intake, porting & gasket-matching the heads, yadda-yadda-yadda.

Our FC buddy in the #15 Van Dieman, (Steve Sallenbach from Wahoo, NE) was
in his car ready for Sunday qualifying when his clutch stopped working. He
jumped out, bled the clutch, got back in and backed up to turn
around. Unfortunately, he hit the front of Ron's car with his rear
wing. Bent the headlight and cracked the right front fender. Ric Johnson
got a picture of the damage.
We told Ron he should tell every one that he rear-ended a FC. Sounds
better that way.
All-in-all, Steve had a trouble filled weekend. (but at least he was fast)
