[Fot] Spitfire bonnet interchangeability

The main difference is in the hinge that is part of the inner frame
structure.  On the MK3 it is higher because the bumpers were raised.  The
sheet metal will interchange as long as you have the correct inner frame.

Fellow Spit owners and racers,

Before I dive off the deep end (again), does anyone know if a Mk III bonnet
will interchange with a Mk I and II?  I think the front pivots are
different,
but will they be dimensionally the same?  I think a fellow racer named Russ
Moore may have done this.  Anyone have a contact for him?
