[Fot] Books and books on tape

I agree entirely about the Dudley Pope books. I've read most of the
Alexander Kent/Bolitho books, but he's pretty dreary and repetitive.
Needs a better editor (don't we all). Haven't read them all. A friend
gave me a complete set for my birthday. I've also read all of C.S.
Forester, especially the Hornblower series.

By the way, a little plug for B.S. Levy directed to the two or three
FOT guys that haven't read him. Do so. But speaking of guys that
need an editor, the last book was both delightful and irritating. No
one can edit their own copy past second draft. By that time every
word is a drop of blood, and hard to toss.
