Sounds like the video is pirated from the Standard-Triumph one that shows the
crash only as a pillar of smoke.

Bueb is a Welshman not a Russian - first name is Ivor

No final "e" on Hawthorn.

TR2s finished 14th, 15th and 19th in '55.

Hey guys here is a great video of the ill-fated 1955 race.  Lots of TR
sightings!!  Three TR2s started and three finished!  Mike Hawthorne and Ivan
Bueb won the race in a Jaguar.  Very neat!
