Kas mentioned the TR4 effort getting up to 128mph. How fast does a prepped TR6 or SCCA raced TR8 get to? I recall also an effort some years back to field a TR8 at LeMans. The car reached (I think) 178 on the straight. VTR published a short story on the vehicle which was done at the time in the separate VTR English Channel newsletter. Cheers, Bill Sohl
