A local fellow recently purchased a '69 TR6 with overdrive. Starting about 25 - 30 mph the gearbox makes an odd whining sound, sort of like a bad bearing, but not really. The noise stops as soon as you engage the overdrive. Does this symptom sound familiar to anyone? Thanks, mjb.
